Overview:
Zach at The Sensory Booth provides 1:1 online and in-person tutoring. He supports primary pupils (5–11) and KS3 learners catching up on primary skills—especially autistic and other neurodivergent children, anxious/school-avoidant learners, and home-educated families (including EOTAS).
Subjects & support:
Maths & English: small steps, real-world practice, confidence first.
PSHE: friendships, safety, growing up—age-appropriate and kind.
Social & emotional: co-regulation, emotional literacy and executive-function tools.
LEGO®-based therapy: collaborative builds to develop communication and teamwork.
Zones of Regulation®: notice feelings, choose tools, return to “ready to learn.”
SEND support: neurodiversity-affirming adaptations and predictable routines.
Messy Makers:
Messy Makers is a 45-minute sensory stay & play where you can slow down, connect, and enjoy some proper hands-on play together. Aprons are provided, snacks are welcome (hot drinks with lids). Expect smiles, curiosity, and plenty of “ooh, what’s that?!” moments.
