Overview:

A relaxed, safe and friendly summer holidays club is for children aged 8-14 with special educational needs and disabilities who usually find visiting museums overwhelming.

Staff Awareness: Well trained

Parking / Accessibility: There is no visitor parking. Limited Pay and Display and disabled parking is available on Trumpington Street. The nearest car parks are Grand Arcade. There are also Park & Ride options into the centre.


SEN Session:

  • Sessions take place in the school summer holidays

  • Each session takes place at one of the Cambridge Museums or Garden

What to Expect:

Each session is an opportunity for young people to discover the collection of the Museum or Garden and create different artworks in response.

There are very limited spaces to keep the museums from feeling too overwhelming. Adults are expected to stay and where possible, siblings are welcome to join in as well.
