Overview:

Run by MyOTAS Woodland Warriors is an outdoor activity programme, that helps children of different age groups and from different backgrounds to learn basic life skills, through outdoor play.

Noise Level: This is an outdoor activity, making sound less intrusive than indoors.

Staff Awareness: Aware

Parking / Accessibility: Car Parking available at all three entrances (Rettendon View, Runwell Road, and Highcliffe Avenue). Toilets are only available during Cafe opening times.


SEN Session:

  • Tuesdays, 10–12pm: Ages 4–18

  • Saturdays, 10–11.30am: Ages 4–11

  • Saturdays, 11.45am–1.15pm: Ages 11+


What to Expect:

Throughout the sessions, children will be able to participate in a range of activities from balancing, climbing, developing problem solving skills, making crafts, cooking on the campfire, learning about the wildlife and how to safely make fire. No two sessions are the same, with different activities each week. Parents often describe the sessions as a therapeutic experience, likening it to an outdoor support group.
